Just got back.. Will post up pics etc, but I went from stock 229hp and 412ft/lb to 290.4hp and 500ft/lb

The car has trully been 'evolved'! Its so effortless, I've had tuned up jap cars before with some serious power but this is just like a baileys sort of power delivery, silky smooth with a punch! builds up speed so easy

Cheers guys!

I would just like to thank Imran and the guys at Evolve.

I had ordered a switch on Tuesday morning, and it arrived on Wednesday afternoon.

I then sent off the read file on Wednesday evening, and got the modified file back on Thursday morning.

That's pretty dam good service in my book.

I'm now itching to get the new file on, but due to work it'll have to wait until Monday :-(

Couldn't wait until Monday, Just "evolved" the car in the car park at work :-)

Impressed after a quick run out.
I used to have an standard UK Impreza turbo (215HP), and my "dull" 320D oil burner is not far off from the scooby after been "elvolved".
I must remember the BMW is rear wheel drive and not 4x4 when entering and coming off roundabouts.

My work colleague had his Evolved on Wednesday after my recommendation -

335d went from 292bhp to around 340+bhp - he's very pleased

Well, I wanted to cover a few miles before submitting a review of the map.
350 miles later now since this morning and here is what I think.
Sal and Imran were most importantly great to deal with.
The map is a monster. It had completely retained the power delivery and driveability but with way way more power.
All in all a perfect map.

Thanks guys!!!

I aksed Imran about opening times.
I was concerned about loading the new map over the Christmas period, in case I needed to call them.
He said they are only closed for Christmas Day, Boxing day (obviously) and then bank holiday monday and tuesday.

As I have BMW extended warranty, the biggest thing for me would be error deletion.
Is this enabled in the Evolve-R cable yet?

And basically, I can have the R cable posted to me, send off my standard map which will then be remapped, I can upload to the R cable and switch whenever I want via OBD II for £499? If that is the procedure then what a great idea!

Yes the Evolve-R cable reads and deletes the "tuner" codes.

You have described the proceedure perfectly.

Thank you Springbok for advising on opening times Glad you are enjoying your tune also. We are open from today till Friday.

Gio - it is possible but you would have to bring the car back to us to set up the switch as we need it in standard form to link it the car.

Hey Imran, are there any updates from your software developer regarding the slight issues we had mapping my black E92 335i with the Evolve-R cable a few weeks ago?

So here is the printout showing the proof that the drivability remains.
Check out the top end of the BHP and how it used to dip off significantly.
512 ft/lb. Lovely stuff.
I have also found a nice home for the two evolve stickers without being too blatant on Silver paintwork.

Nice!

Here's mine

My power really drops off where power curve on Bleah's car keeps on climbing.

Question then to Imran, any reason why?

It was running BP ultimate which has a higher cetane rating which may explain some difference, but the engines are all different, this one is on 20k and tighter than a nuns chuff

What year is your 330D? mines on 60k so more or less run in, but I wouldn't have expected BP Ultimate to give you that power curve climb. Just wondering why mine drops off. I suspect the graph doesn't go on enough maybe yours drops off further along the axis but isnt shown on the print out.
