I'm going to have to squeeze in a quick hand wash friday afternoon considering all this rain if I want it to look it's best. The 71 part will not be a problem. I have tons of practice. I went to Otterbein and made more than my fair share of trips between Cbus and Cleveland. The trick is to not tailgate semi's and go fast than everyone else .

Don't worry about it. I've had a few loaners and could care less how they looked. If you'd like I could toss my stuff in the trunk and give you a walk through. It was my first time doing that much of a detail and it was surprisingly easy. The only thing is my hamstrings still hurt .

BTW if anyone wants to carpool from Cleveland we can meet up saturday morning somewhere? Like off 71 at Strongsville, Brunswick, or Medina? Let me know. You'll make it there a hell of a lot quicker following me, trust me. I've driven this route more times than I'd wish to know about and know where all the Staties like to sit. My average drive time is like 1hr and 40 mins. Plus you won't get lost on campus, cuz I know my way around there too. We can even take the scenic sorority route

Have you ever driven to Columbus? Well for you it wouldn't make much sense coming across 80 to meet me in Strongsville, but it would make sense for you to take 76 to where it hits 71 in Lodi. We could meet at the big truck stop there. You would only have to leave maybe 15 mins earlier than I did. We could meet there around 9:30?

I'm on AIM most nights so hit me up there if you'd like. I can show you a map of where we'd meet and shit like that.

I got a call from my dealer about an hour ago. He left a message on my phone and was going over some pricing for plugging the holes in the front bumper and installing the ipod adaptor. He said (very casually) "Ann (my CA) asked me to give you a call. Your car is in and here are some prices on ..." I was like, did he just say my car is in??!! Maybe he just means that figureatively, as in its almost in, or its in the country, or it might as well be in. They'd told me it wasn't even supposed to make it on to the truck until today with arrival at the dealer Friday. So I called him and was like, did you say, the car is in, as in its there at the dealer? Yes was the answer. He said sometimes they'll get the printout of the delivery schedule and 10 minutes later the truck will pull up.

Did I mention MY CAR IS HERE!! MY CAR IS HERE!!

I'm tempted to drive down to the dealer just to give it a hug in the parking lot. Of course, I have a fob, so I could actually even sit in it. Here I am hugging it goodbye in Munich when I dropped it off. Parting is such sweet sorrow. Until we meet again car. Adieu. See you on the other side of the pond.


I'm almost giddy now. He said they could get all the stuff done tomorrow and I could pick it up Friday.

So anyway, moral of the story is that I should be able to make the meet Saturday. I have to work at 4pm, but I should be able to make it back ok by then since we're meeting at 11.

I tried to talk him into it and initially he was going to come, but now he claims he has deadlines and such things so he can't make it. I guess I'll be arriving solo.

I decided to go down to the dealer to see my car. It was back in the detailing garage. I talked to the guy for awhile and went and sat in and played with the car/radio/etc for a bit.

I'm going to pick up by brand new super clean car tomorrow and drive it right out onto the wet roads. I'm with you on the cleaning thing, although they'll probably still be wet Saturday morning when I drive over to Columbus
