Coding DRL Halogen Headlights

Hello,

I have an E91 325d Feb 2007. with halogen headlights. So no Xenons or Angel Eyes, just pure old fashion halogens.
With the headlight switch on Auto and DRL activated in the iDrive menu the low beams and position lights are on always (day/night). I would like to code the lights so that on the Auto position and DRL activated only the position lights and fog lights are on during the day. At the night the low beams should be turned on automatically. Is there an example of the code lines?

There are a lot of posts about AE for DRL but I'm not sure if the same coding will apply for the Halogen headlights whiteout AE.

Thanks a lot

I have a 2010 that came with halogens, but the DRL were not my low beams, they were my high beams, in a low power mode I believe as they weren't very bright, it should be the same though, I followed the instructions here and it worked for me.

So I figured out that I have the FRM1 module and that I cannot activate the fog lights as DRL.

But instead, I turned the high beams as DRL instead of the low beams and activated the side marks (US Style). But unfortunately, the side marks are only overnight on when the low beams switch automatically on. During the day they are off and the high beams are on.

Does someone know why? I would like that the side marks are always on.

Thx

So If I have a 2007 e90 with frm1 and purchase LCI halogen headlights. I can't code out the corner lights to only keep the rings on?

May be a limitation of your frm1. Look up coding cheat sheet to see if you see value to change if anything.
