Hi, I use these guys for all my transport in Europe. They are based in Northern Switzerland next to the German Border.
efficient with normally good pricing, give them a try.

Probably cheaper and easier to take a van out there for the day and bring it back.

I'd give the pallet companies a go. (If the people in Germany can get the engine secured to a pallet) We use TPN The Pallet network for freight in UK but I know they cover Europe aswell. Google them and get a quote.

For the next shipping contact Cargolution, i always work with them, they handle the bureaucracy as well
