I have recently been quoted £299 from Simon for a map in Fareham at a place with a rolling road although before and after dyno runs would be an extra £60.

I thought is was pretty good as it is miles cheaper than any other tuners I have contacted.

Haha. Me too. Was not expecting this... it's like creating a monster but it's all good. The more the merrier.

I could offer my work unit for a day (based in Stoke and indoors) there would be tea and coffee available too. If this would be easier for us "northern lot"

To be honest that's a good deal from Evolve, but I'm a bit biased as I live about 10 mins away from Luton lol.

What does Imran mean when he says 10 and 11 are £499 each?

Could you find out about the switchable map from Evolve?

Cars 10 and 11 are newer and therefore cost more to map

Oh right thanks.

Not sure whether to get this or wait a couple of weeks and get an LSD.

Im out if we go to Evolve. Not paying £499 for a map. Simon has already offered a good quote to map my car.

Also said that he cant do mine on a group buy as mine takes him 3 hours alone. Apparently one of the hardest BMW's to map...

I have an update. He replied just now and it is pretty impressive I don't think anyone will be unhappy. He has asked me to keep the price off the forum so I will clear some inbox space and PM you all with prices. Then we can bring the discussion back here and talk logistics. Will log in on laptop tomorrow.

Interesting times...
Is it up to date price?
I heard people asking £80 onward for rolling road?

If you guys end up with Simon, then can we arrange a group rolling road? It will be good to see some figures. I will bring my F10 to see if I hit 200+BHP with tuning box.

Ok... you should all have the quote by PM. Let me know if you did not receive it e.g. inbox was full.

Here is my suggestion:

Suggestions for Locations:

Location 1 Geesh_46's Unit:
Geesh_46, Cupraraj, K31RON and JJ0063

Location 2 Acerboo's: (accommodation still on offer?)... we could make this a two day thing i.e. he maps in the day, stays over, has a hearty English breakfast and then is our mapping monkey for another day...
Bajandifter, Acerboo, Rich4191, Waspo?, Webby 888?, Yoro35i, Broken Gearbox and Craig242?

We could give priority for Southampton if he is up for it... so he gets there first thing, beats the traffic and heads back. Otherwise, we can ask Simon if he is willing to work out some kind of route stopping in Berkshire, heading to Kent and going to S'oton

Location 3?
We could do something in West London or Berkshire if we have a location?

March works out fine for me anyway because we have had a close loss in the family and I am contributing to funeral costs. Personally, Kent is a bit away for me but I would rather do runs and mapping there than be spotted pimping my ride in my current location.

I think at that price he is expecting to make a single trip and have all/most cars there. So if we can work out a spot thats not toooo much for everyone and as many of us try to get there!? Im easy so berkshire, london etc is cool. Im happy with the quote...VERY!!! Big thanks to BROKEN_gearbox for makin this happen.

Price seems very reasonable to me, no other way of getting a decent map that cheap!

I am easy with locations too and happy to travel as I am sure the journey home will be worth it!
