Andy that's not good and as you say need to ensure you've definitely not got a boost leak when refitting them. Also from TD's perspective I think they could have offered better customer service in this instance as your kind of expect the whole overhaul process to have made them pretty biker proof and able to cope with the over spinning mentioned.

This is one of the reasons I'm really unsure on the whole turbo upgrade as the costs to fit them and if an issue the cost to remove again etc isn't great to have to stomach.

I am surprised though that you weren't getting any error codes if leaking boost etc. Especially as you just had a remap as opposed to JB4 (which can be set to auto clear faults). Even with auto clearing mine still jlhits limp mode on rare occasions and throws a 30FF code for example before it auto clears.

Wouldn't a boost leak show up on the logs?

No I don't think so, esp if it's a small leak. Wouldn't the solenoids just keep the waste gates shut thus over spinning the turbos until the target boost pressure is reached at the sensor in the charge pipe?

Yes, so you would see a high PWM, Intimating a boost leak ?

Can you offer any update on this, Andy?
It seems TD were turning you over. Did anything ever get resolved...?
