Very good tutorial, great write up!
I understood almost everything in it and I'm about to try this once I get my battery charger! There is only a slight thing I'm not sure with: Quote:
My car is E82 135i DCT, I use the same chassis code E89 as yours in the coding. Care to explain a bit more? Thanks in advance |

With the latest Datens, WinKFP doesn't show MEV17. All I see is ME1745 and MV1746 that seem close. Any idea why my ECU family doesn't show MEV17?

Yeah I was using the Tool. I did a manual import and it shows up now.

Finally succeeded in flashing mine with some help from 6ixSpd: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1613456. Unfortunately, could not tell any difference in the exhaust sound after the flash. Car came with a Remus Quad, so not sure if that's the reason or something else.
Has anyone else flashed to PPK but got no difference in the sound? My car does have the stock catted down-pipes. Remus Quad is axle-back. Thank you. |

Hello!
New to the e91 and new to this forum. I’m gonna introduce myself later, but first the most important question. What ZSUB number do I need for a e91 335i xdrive n55 AT MEVD176K? Current ZUSB 8684922 I have updated to latest Daten files. My car has been updated by the dealer last year by the latest update. Last edited by BM3Wheeler; 04-11-2020 at 01:04 PM.. |

Did you code the DME with NCS after you flashed it? Did you write the UIF (have to enter your VIN) during the flash?

F1 comfort mode F3 update ecu and choose ecu F2 choose PPK ZB number F4 enter vin F8 done F3 program After it's done UIF will update ZB and vin as long as your winkfp configuration is set to update UIF in comfort mode. Step 2 would be to default code the dme in ncs expert. And then clear codes and you'll be done |
