Basically didn't really answer anything. Come back when you are ready to release new products.

I'm sorry for the lack of specificity but I can confirm there is currently no exact ETA. I find that being honest with potential customers is better than setting false or misleading expectations

ATM or Buzzken are your current choices for a catted dp. I am very satisfied with ATM and not worried about clogging.

Did they fix the notch or whatnot that I read about on the early production models? They need to make some more stuff for the M57, I loved their stuff on my N54.

i think the notch was on buzzken or other brand. it was for the bottom mount where the DPF mounted..
newer pipes that are made do not have that..

FedEx can be a bit rough with these. Just shoot over a e-mail to sales@vr-speed.com and we'll be happy to shoot out a replacement gasket ASAP.

Could I DIY this or should I take it to a muffler shot? As long as the DOC is on it the smell shouldn't be that bad.

It's quite a process to get the dpf out... I'm not sure a regular muffler shop would know how to do it. It's not horribly hard to do it yourself. There's a Diy somewhere on the forum for dpf delete. Took me all of one day on a lift and I drove it back home after.

You find it odd a company wants a picture and some sort of proof of the damaged piece before they replace it? lol wow.
