bump on my question.

I'm interested in this intake as well, but would like an answer to this question

+1

I may have second thoughts about this intake if its only good for high-rpm gains.

Good point that you noticed that, but all intakes have losses on the lower end, unless it's a drop in filter, in which you might be able to only gain a maximum of .5 HP. All intake systems have this issue because the piping is bigger, thusly, taking a little more time to get more air into your intake manifold. Of course, smaller OEM piping will have smaller piping, so upon startup, getting air through a smaller pipe will be easier than a bigger pipe. But while during constant flow, as on the freeways, highways or streets, reaction of 3,000 RPM and above will be a lot more responsive. The dyno of the car is usually tested on 4th gear and we're always looking for high end response, so the lower rpm bands might not be exact because we're not flooring the vehicle on the lower ends. With constant air flow, you'll definitely feel the extra power and you will be 100% satisfied with the InJen products, as many others have been!!!

I guess that's why 330s have multistage intakes... but I wonder how that will affect the lower end on a 325/28 ?
