**********s 19" m6 replicas, new custom e92 offset - REVIEW
I was in the market for some m6 reps for a while, but all these issues with rubbing on the new et30 wheels on the coupe (sedan does not rub) kept me from buying.
Here are some posts about the et30's rubbing: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=m6+rubbing Well, I contacted Mike************ to see if I could get some wheels that are still an aggressive offset, but didnt rub on the e92. He offered to send me a set that was custom shaved from the factory (MiRo wheels) to a et33 offset on the rear. The order process was quick and painless... A+ for customer service from **********s. I got my wheels the next week, the packaging was great, very sturdy boxes, with plenty of padding... I mounted them up myself using a low profile jack from sears, and the e90/e92 jack adapter sold here on these forums. It was extremely easy, took only 5 minutes per corner. The new wheels are 7 lbs lighter than the stock wheel/tires, EACH... and the offset is PERFECT. it fits DIRECTLY FLUSH under the fender, has an aggressive look, and the great news... NO RUBBING WHATSOEVER!!! Here are some photos of the process, more coming soon when the weather gets better, along with maybe some "in motion" video, so that you can really get a feel for these wheels. If anyone wants to get m6 reps for their e92, I highly suggest getting this new custom offset so that you dont have rubbing. PM Mike************ and ask him for the new offset that RiXst3r was testing. RIDE QUALITY: Anyone considering ditching the runflats.... DO IT! I went with the General Exclaim UHP tires since I was on a budget, but even with the thinner tire and bigger wheel, the car still has a softer ride, yet it feels much more stable in the turns then stock. Road noise was about the same as stock when i first mounted them, but now after running them for a while, they are actually a bit quieter than stock. TPMS worked flawless, no error codes or warnings, I had the TPMS sensors pre-installed by modbargians. I check psi on the tires, and they were inflated to the exact manufacturers spec. Do you think that it will rub if you went with 275s?
