Hi Brian. Well, I sent him a PM a couple of days ago and haven't heard back from him. Today will make it the end of the 2nd week since he told me my wheels would be shipping out in "1 to 2 weeks".

We may be the only two people who are waiting for the smoked titanium finish. This was a big mistake for me because I really just wanted the standard silver finish but a buyer wanted them in smoked titanium finish. Then I changed my mind and decided that I would just keep the wheels as I may be following Astris' route; going from the M3 to a 335i.

Hey, another smoke titanium VS7 customer.

We now have three smoked titanium customers waiting for statuses.

Carlos, could you post the status in this thread so we all have just one place to check on the board? I think this will also make it easier for you. Seems like you're very busy nowadays.

Three for smoked titaniums. Who else opted for the optional finish? Astris received his flat black. Donmiel80 will be receiving his black w/ semi gloss wheels soon. Who else?

I've been one of Carlos' supporters for since the beginning of this group buy and have been really patient throughout the whole process. But I just feel that we have been placed in the backburner somehow. I understand the issues with the shop he uses for powerdercoating but there's got to be other shops out there who can do this. What I don't understand is why it's taking more than a month to finish the rest of the wheels after the first batch of VS7s were delivered. I was told on 9/10 that the painting process started for all smoked titaniums. What happened to the wheels? What condition are they in now? What are the effects of delaying the finish?

Come on Carlos. Give us some information here.

I received a PM from Carlos last night. We should have an update on Monday as he is trying to source a new supplier for powdercoating. Evidently there are 5 of us waiting on this.

I actually got the same PM last night. Hopefully, the new reputable powercoating shop will be more reliable than the last one.

No interesting e-mails for me, other than an acknowledgment to change my order to standard finish with a refund of my finish money. I do hope that means my wheels will ship within the next two days.
