It has a push tab on it, it should slide out pretty easily provided the tab is pushed all the way in to clear the clip.

How did you determine the IBS is preventing the car from starting?

I used an obd2 scanner & the errors came as the steering wheel locking & the ibs sensor being unable to communicate with the obd2 scanner

Depend what month your car issue could apply to the pdf. Move your steering wheel off of the steering lock while tring to start.

The no-start is unrelated to the IBS.

I really wish that was a joke, but some people actually believe that crap…

OP, provided your battery isn’t dead, a faulty IBS shouldn’t prevent you from starting the car. What are your symptoms?

The real reason why my car won’t start is cause I’ve reached the maximum amount of times I could turn it so the steerin wheel is locked, ( shows the red symbol on dashboard) but I i put in a new battery & couldn’t register it cause the scanner couldn’t communicate with the ibs, so now I’m finna change tht. With the steerin thing I gotta get somebody that could reset the counter or remove it for me
