Headlights and FRM/LCM

I got a 2007 BMW 320i Msport
The headlights were damaged when I got it. I bought halogen but the car uses xenon. Is there a way to make that work. Also my frm was stolen at some point. Should I replaced it with one that marked for xenon or since the lights installed are.halogen replace it with one that works with that or does it even matter. Just trying to figure this out.

I believe, but am not 100% positive that the one for xenon will work with both, but you will still need to change some codes.

However, it sucks that someone would break into your vehicle to steal the FRM. I thought it strange that someone stole/swapped my passenger side mirror with one that was for vehicles without dim, dip, and heat features.
