Not sure that's always the case. Some BMW diffusers arrive in grey primer (ready for painting). Worth checking before you order...

Depends on the model of your car. For e90/91 you need to be brave and cut-away a sliver off the bottom edge of the bumper, about eight inches each side.

Job should take around 2 hrs max (including faffing around).

No cutting needed for the E92.

How was the alignment with the tailpipes? I am little concerned if my tailpipes will stick out or in too much based on the profile of the LCI rear diffuser.

Cheers.

I have the PE on my car and stick out of tailpipes is better than LCI diffuser, as I thought they stuck out a bit too far.

Currently how far my pipes stick out

I'd be happy if they sit about the same, but that may be wishful thinking!

On the PE diffuser in my photo you may be able see the raised profile around the 2 outlets for the pipes which LCI Msport diffuser doesn't have.

Looking at yr photo, yr tailpipes are just proud of the msport diffuser so PE version [with its raised profiles round the outlets] may make yr tailpipes stickout less, possibly even flush.

In the morning, I will try and take another photo of my mine from a similar angle as yr photo to try and help visualise what I mean.

It's for an E91 (dog car!). The pictures look really good, worries about taking slivers off the car though! I'll have a serious think about it. Looks awesome though.

Remap is the first job - only had the car 3 weeks! E-Maps booked for the 4th, can't wait.
