Ok I've looked in all other threads and it said TPMS is located where the battery is. Then it said, they changed it on 2011 models to rear passenger wheel well. Well if you look at the photos it's in neither of those places.

Any ideas?

OP means the master receiving unit.

I always forget myself. I thought it was in the trunk area, but that's all I remember.

Side note: I've had mine replaced (dealership) because it went bad.

EDIT: If no one can help you, I recommend RealOEM -- just put in your exact model, look for the Tire Pressure receiver, and it should show you on the car diagram.

Thank you both for helping out. I found what it looks like, now I'm going to dig up the truck to find it.

No man, I can't find it.

I dogged up everything in the trunk on both sides and nothing.
I did find the module in the second picture that I don't know what it is, but it doesn't look like TPMS.
Anyone know or any other tips?

Did a quick look around the various BMW forums. MAN does BMW like to put the TPMS receiver in odd places.

I've read of: trunk (behind batting), behind the rear wheel wells, under the car attached to the rear subframe, and even this (convertible) behind the right rear seat, in a plastic box.

Its located on the right rear area of the subframe. The RDC master control unit is outside on the E90, not inside the car.

The module you had a picture of is the old system. The new "cheap" system or whatever it's called has a different one usually mount underneath the car somewhere in the area of the rear subframe. It's a scavenger hunt every time I have to find one

Yup! It's a popsicle/USB drive looking thing that sits right behind the fender of the rear passenger wheel. Literally you just have to pop off the first two clips from the bottom of the fender as well as the clip on the undercarriage and you have access. It's the easiest thing

Hope this helps

You've probably figured it out by now, but yes.
