Question: BMW Performance Exhaust
Hey guys I just recieved the BMW performance exhaust for the n52 and I wanted to install it myself and wanted to know if I needed to bring it to the shop, because the parts don't overlap each other when I put them together. Do I have to do that or is it just cut and clamp. By clamping the parts together will it cause my exhaust to leak?

Like the pipe and the muffler don't connect when I overlap, did the dealer forget to stretch one pipe so they fit together or do I just line them up and clamp?

You just cut and clamp. I would strongly suggest to have it welded, US spec pipe is a bit smaller in diameter than the Euro one so all you need to do is get a small US spec piece to create a sleeve and weld it on both sides.
