It is agonizing, but the pictures help.

Thanks for the compliment

Question Cream Beige Interior

Hi,

I thought I'd post in this thread too. I took delivery of my 2007 328xi last month. It has the cream beige leather interior; however, the dealership put in beige carpeted floor mats. I've noticed that there's a picture of a cream beige interior with matching carpeted mats floating around this site. Does anyone have cream beige floor mats? My dealer insists that the standard beige, which matches the e90 interior is all that is available. I love my car, but I must say that this is quite an oversight.

Thanks

Why don't you show to your dealership those pictures...

They have a thread specifically for tint. May want to hit the search button and take a gander.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=tint+thread

I had 20% tint on my 330ci...looked great but hard as hell to see at night. If it wasn't for the PDC, I'd probably would've hit a few things in reverse. Now that I have the 335 coupe...I'm going to get 50% tint...ceramic. Just looks professional and clean. Theres a pic of a monaco sedan with 50% and looks great.

Not sure what the legal requirements are for NY but I know the northeast has more stringent requirements. It may not be legal for 20s all the way around.

Hey Mac,

I just picked my car up yesterday from getting tinted. Did you have a lot of problems with the Dot Matrix on the top of the rear window? I'm thinking getting a roof spoiler is probably a good idea. Need to take it back for them to smooth out that part. 35% in the front and side windows and 17% for the rear, sunroof, and rearside windows.

Haven't tinted my ride yet. Waiting out until I hit the states. PCS in a few months.
Besides...it's cheaper and figured I'd do it in one shot since they're seriously thinking about enforcing the no tint on the driver and passenger law soon. It's both for the Germans and us.

What kind of tint did you get?

Could you please post some more pics of the car under the sun. I want to see how Monaco looks.

heres a link to my webshots pictures. these were taken under 4pm setting sun, so it was pretty bright. in fact, so bright that the camera had a hard time adjusting to the color and the saddle brown looks orange.

Hey guys,

This is a great thread. I'm taking a crash course on 335i's because my Nissan Pathfinder just died on me and I need a new car, so feel free to correct me on any of my points because I'm still very new.

I looked at Sparkling Graphite which everyone seems to rave about but it is way too purple for me and space gray was very depressing when I looked at it. I'm torn between black metallic and monaco blue. I'm not a fan of the beige interior because it gets dirty easily. I wish we had the light beige in the states (not sure the exact name) but I understand that we only have the cream beige here. I love the two-tone effect of saddle brown and coral red, but none of those colors really do it for me.

Mostly I notice the Monaco blue with a beige interior. I was wondering how you guys liked it with the black interior? Also, the color is so dark it almost looks black. With that being the case, why didn't you just choose black in the first place?

I'm being very picky, but one thing I didn't like about black metallic was the chrome border around the windows. I thought it was too much of a contrast whereas, in the monaco blue, it seems to blend a little better.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Monaco Blue looks virtually black at night, however its very different from black because black hides most of the lines and monaco blue doesnt.

Also, black is a lot of maintenance to keep the car looking new and swirl free. my RSX is black and its too much work keeping it looking brand new. Monaco blue will still be hard to maintain, but blemishes wont be as obvious as on black.

I also noticed that the brushed aluminum window border blends well with blue also.

Saw an E46 coupe in Monaco today- when the sun was behind me, it looked very blue- close to mystic blue. From the opposite direction, it looked very dark, almost black.

I like the dual-nature of this colour- makes it more interesting than some of the other choices.

Colonel, your sig has gotta be wrong. You can't possibly hvae an E92 330 on order. It's gotta be a 335 or a 328.

wyrm11- look at my location: Scotland

In UK (and Europe) we get 320i, 325i, 330i, and 335i. Diesels also available: 320d, 325d, 330d, 335d.

FYI, the 330 here is 272hp.

Aaahh sorry about that! No disrespect intended (I just reread my post and realized it may have come off kinda snooty).

That's kinda cool that you have so many options.

Anyway, my bad again. Good luck on the new car! Mine's on order too...and SUPPOSEDLY on its way to the dealer as I type this.

Trust me, get the monaco blue. Everybody has black, Tiag, or Space Gray. You'll love it...with the black interior. ...try to get the piano black trim.

I was switching back and forth on the Gray Pop and Silver. Some GP trim models I saw had a pink tint when the light hit it a certain way. Just went for the sure, sporty look.

When I ordered mine, they couldn't provide the Piano....even over here. I heard things have changed back in the dealerships in the states. I guess not. You'll enjoy whatever you decide. Good luck.

I ordered E92 328xi Monaco Blue with black interiors for the same reason, eveyone has black, TiAg, or Sparkling Graphite. I also think the cream beige will need a lot of maintenance.

Delivery in June.

Thanks, I can't wait until June for delivery. Unfortunately, they do not have the piano trim in Canada either. I got the standard aluminum trim, Sprt pkg and Nav.
