***Katoomba Cruise - Sydney***
Well folks, here we are again, it's coming up to the holiday season soon, and what better way to kick it off then with a nice cruise up the mountains?
The cruise will start from our meeting point at Rouse Hill McDonald's and will pass through Windsor and the lower Blue Mountains where we’ll take the Bells Line of Road to Bell. From Bell, we’ll cut across the Darling Causeway to Mt. Victoria where we’ll meet the Great Western Highway, taking us to Katoomba! Once there, everyone should be able to find some parking (street parking or in Katoomba center) and then time for lunch at a place that we can determine on the day (depends on numbers etc.) From Katoomba, you can either make your own way back down to Sydney via the Great Western Highway (which is a lot shorter), or any other way which suits you best. I am sure it will be a great day, with lots of great roads to drive with great scenery too! Date: 16th December 2007 Time: 9:30am, for a 10am departure Meeting Point: Rouse Hill McDonald's car park 1/1 Resolution Place (Just off Windsor road, past the Mean Fiddler Where to: Katoomba What to bring: Full tank of fuel, and money for lunch when we get there Who: Anyone who wants to bring their Bimmer along Hope to see you there!

This does sound good however once again my BM is hogging the hoist in the workshop with more things being done. I am hoping it will be back in a week so that I will be able to attend this drive this time.

Bugger - wife organised a BBQ with friends. Starts 2pm so I'll come with you part way - perhaps to Lithgow/Bell and then I'll have to head back.

My mrs has double booked me as well, but trying to side step so I can still come.
OT my V2 arrived today, so I need to give it a good run after I install tomorrow. |

I have things on in the afternnoon too, but i organised my times and was able to fit everything in
Providing it isn't terribly humid on saturday morning, it will not hail in the afternoon (it's also cooler up the mountains anyway, so it would be more likely to hail east rather then west) Ahhh, spoil sports all backing out... Oh well, the people who actually wanna come will, and we will have a great time i recon

Well my lemon is still showing off a empty engine bay so I'm guessing it wont be attending yet again. But I will be a passenger in my mates E30 with the E36 M3 motor in it.

Yeah still at Peak. Good news came this morning, the pistons finally turned up and have been sent off to the machinest with the block. Due back tomorrow afternoon then it's time to put it all back together. I said to them it would be nice to attend this cruise on Sunday....see what happens though. Hopefully I'm past the bad luck stage.

If you have learnt one thing from this though, it's don't rush the situation - that's when it gets done wrong unfortunately

Here are a few photos from sunday's cruise...
We had BMW M POWER in his black e46 clubsport, CaptOZ in his grey e92 335, Jarrod in his e36, Villemus in his e46 328, me in my e46 vert, and Raj in his e36 M3 (who decided not to follow after a while...) I might have some more pics on my other camera... Did anyone else get some pics?

Apologies for not getting there, when I woke up Sunday morning after my X-Mas party the night before I was still blowing .08 so there was no driving for me.
Hopefully I'll get to the next one. |

haha yeah, anymore I should be aware of?
I just wanted to reassure everyone that I didn't just leave because I didn't want to come along, or I wouldn't have even turned up to the meet. anyway, when's the next one? should do one in Jan or Feb |
