I don't regret it at all. Finances are the reason I'm in a 328i and I am extremely happy with my choice. I'd love a 335i but it wasn't in my budget and I am not looking back.
By the way bHd, you're response proves your lack of maturity. Please grow up.. Thanks, Mike. |

I totally regret it... I never thought I would need a car faster than my 328, but now I am addicted to speed. Don't flame me but I'm even thinking about trading my car in for a 135!

This is basically the boat I find myself in, except a 335 probably wouldn't do it for me. I want an M3 I think (or an maybe an M1 if they make it).

lol....well the Z4 M coupe would do "it" nicely, so I think I can safely say the same for the Lambo.

whats up with the 335 coming down on the 328 owners. I bought my e92 328 with the intention of not speeding and the optimism that the turbos were a lil too much for me. Although it sounds QUITE damn nice, I didn't need the new technology to be a headache. Insurance wasn't a reason why i chose the 328. If i was gonna go back in time and buy the car again... I would just wait another year and a half and get the M3.

All the cars represented on this board are nice--but the 335 owners seem to want to be seen as the best. At least some of them do. And that's where the pissing matches come from, because a person who generally likes their purchase, but might wish for a bit here or there once in a while, shouldn't have to defend it all the time....

Just go play with your car--the point of the discussion is obviously over your head.

I have the slowest 3er - 328xi with auto. 335xi wasn't available when I ordered. Do I wish a little more power sometimes? Yes. Do I wish I got a 335? No. Version 1.0 of anything is a bad sign and I'd prefer not to pay $40k to be a beta tester for a new engine. bHd's 335 trouble is a clear example.
I think 328 has plenty of power for most people. The only time I wish a little more is when passing on country two-lanes at "I'll take the fifth" speed. |
