Awesome mate! Are you pretty handy with the tools, or is it a simple case of in your location no-one is around?

I would love to wack on a set of RB's in the future, it will be interesting to see how you go!

What type of clutch are you going to go for???

Also is your RB valve, are you referring to the PCV valve? I recall rob saying when you change the turbos not to run his valve?

Good luck with it dude, I bet you're excited!!!

I recall reading something when I organised the RB PCV valve group buy about if you change the turbos it wasn't recommended to run this valve...

Damn dude, I can't for the life of me find the comment about if adding RB to revert back to the oem item! I can't remember what the reason was behind why the oem PCV valve should be used, perhaps contacting Rob would of course clarify the matter!

I hope not also dude, as apparently to buy the check valve you have to buy the whole rocker cover!!!

I'm pretty sure it's an option to buy the RB PCV valve when buying RBs. Don't think it would be an option if it wasn't recommended.

What I think Rob Beck recommends is that when running RBs, make sure you have a healthy PCV system (RB PCV valve, healthy check valves, healthy valve cover and healthy valve cover gasket) and don't use an OCC, except for maybe the BMS one. He sometimes even recommends not even using that.

Ahh my apologies perhaps I was getting confused with the OCC (not running one)

You're right there Alex! Rob confirmed that it was the inferior OCC's which were causing the problems. The BMS one is the only one he endorses.

What a waste of time today has been.

Back to square one after fitting the rear turbo twice already.

Now i have each oil line and one coolant line fitted but can't get the other coolant line without taking the turbo out or dropping the subframe.

RB's cost $4115 AU with gasket kit and RB valve, with my core.
That was with return shipping.
cost me 210 to send them over.
so all up $4325AU.

Fitted water pump and thermostat in 2 hours, i was stoked.

I have now fitted oil and coolant lines on front turbo.

I can't physically get the turbo into place.

I have jacked the engine up, only got 10mm.

Not sure what I'm going to do yet...
