A while ago someone told me the DME module between xdrive E9x and e70 was the same so hypothetically It is possible to use e70 ACC S+G gear in the e9x.

I am about to do ACC S+G in my F30. Eventually I want to buy a e9x 335is and I will definitely fit ACC S+G on it if you get it working.

Anyway exccelent work!

My black e90 I had at the time was RWD and had a different DSC. The system threw errors saying the DSC fitted was wrong.

Update :

BIG BIG step forward today !!

I have managed to break the codes to enable ACC radar sensing all the time , even car at standstill (prepare for Stop&Go). Normal ACC only activate radar sensing > 20km/hr and disable it < 20km/hr which not possible for Stop&Go integration.

I think this is the most difficult step to have Stop&Go feature in E9x.

Yes. ACC radar sensor can sense object all the time now like Stop&Go in E60.

Due to ACC is not compatible to my 4-cyl E92 DME, I am trying to do the Reverse Engineering on BMW PT-CAN Bus IDs. ie: add a DIY dual M2 CAN Bus Bridge to replace current LDM to translate CAN ID command for my DME to understand and work like ACC. At the same time while doing this, I discovered there is a huge potential that ACC + Stop&Go might be able to introduce in E9x. All the testing results earlier were prepared for Stop&Go integration instead of only ACC. I am very close to success now.

I've been here since very early on I guess what I'm asking is that if I already have ACC what's required for stop and go

In order to have Stop&Go in ACC, "theoretically" you need :

1) Enable the ACC radar sensing even car in standstill. Current ACC only enable radar sensing > 20km/hr and cutoff < 20km/hr.
2) Enable cruise control even car in standstill. Current ACC only enable cruise control > 30km/hr.
3) Incorporate DSC auto braking even car in standstill. Current ACC disable cruise control and brake < 20km/hr.
