Just installed this. Connecting to the car and running INPA, neither the battery or ignition circles light up at all. Also, clicking into one of the seat module drop down menus made a "file not found" type dialog box pop up.

Any idea whats wrong?

Either your cable is faulty, or you didn't copy the folders onto the C drive after the install.

Should have mentioned, I know the cable works because another version of INPA I have (in german) does work.

When you say copy the folders, do you mean step 15? Is there any compatibility issue with installing on a drive other than C:\?

You must install on the C drive.

Re-installed to C:/ and now the cable I'm at least communicating with the car. I still get an error when I select the driver seat module (but not driver seat, new) and a lot of the program is in german, see attachments. Is this normal or is something wrong?

Versions do not match is common because there is a mixture of English and German.

All of the files aren't translated into English, so yes there are a lot of screens that still have German.

Kkmdat, sgdat for the EC-APPS both show that they have no files when I look into them on your "software page" on media fire which could coss only why they aren't downloading when I download the ec-apps and copy it to my c:/ the three files that I have missing when I right click and download them are kkmdat, sgdat, and data as well which does have folders I believe and files so I am trying to see if by me just downloading that and copying that over to my ec-apps folder on my c:\ will work for me and show up or if it's still overall going to be invalid because of the other 2 missing. Can you take a look on your mediafire download why that is, and possibly fix the problem. I don't get how others are successful and why I am experiencing this issue with it. I also don't have that much space as I bought this lap top brand new off of someone and realized it only had 32gb memory which is in reality only like 15gb after all the memory the computer takes to work. I just really need to figure this out and get this working so I can do my injectors and diagnose a few problems and update my cars modules. It's been about 3 weeks and I will not give up until I get this accomplished . 😤 Thanks wildcat!!

All you have to do is create them on your C drive, then import the DATENs. I've tried correcting the issue by adding a blank text file.

Recently, unsure why, i tried to use INPA and after i go to functional jobs>e90 an EDIABAS error shows up saying
"initialization error API job error or no such result! Continue script processing?"
If i hit yes a few times, says versions do not match, languagr variants do not match, malfunction possible.

I do get inti the menu after that but whatever i click on, is empty and just says initialization error? Any help here?

Edit: my battery and ignition do say ON, so i think the cable is still good?

Sounds like you're missing the IPO files in the INPA folders.

When I try to download INPA_FXX.zip from MEGA I get an error that its temporarily unavailable when it's almost complete. I do not see this folder in the other link or is it called something different?

It's mainly only to set up INPA for F series. So if you don't need to use INPA with F series, then you can skip downloading it.

I have downloaded the tools 2.12 multiple times, extracted w/ 7Zip and tried to replace the empty directories w/ the "proper" ones several times. Each time, when I click on WinKFP-NFS, I get "C:\EC-APPS\ is not a valid EC-APPS\NFS folder". The EC-APS folder must be missing some files/ folders, but when I try to download just the EC-APPS folder, it fails.

in desperation, I have tried updating the SP-DATEN and the winKFP. Still fails.

I am beyond frustrated trying to get the software to run.

Any ideas?

You have to select the NFS folder, not EC-APPS.

I have almost all german language, really no english? Does not seem normal.
Second, i cannot find any such file: revtor.pfl. Full machine search after download did not find this. CAn i use std default profile?
I need to work with 2 daten files, e46 and e89. Do i need to clear and remove one set before using the second or can they reside both at once in the folders.?
Inpa is giving me black dots on both car and ignition so i should be good to go, but have nothing showing at all when NCS is opened?

Any help appreciated, I have team viewer installed if anybody wants to try a remote in. I am on an older xp native laptop that is not used for anything else.

I followed the steps to a T and when I open up INPA and click e90 then go to MSV80 nothing can be found and the bottom left says stopped. on the page with all the different body types it says running. any ideas?

Do you get any data when clicking on Functional Jobs \ UIF?

Double check your driver details. See if NCS will work properly.
