Would I still be able to pass emissions with these headers?

Hi there. I got a 3 stage manifold for Christmas (on its way), Afe Magnum Force Intake for my b-day, and now I'm adding the AA headers and tune to the mix. I have only installed the intake so far but am excited to get everything bolted on and tune it! Less excited about the actual installation without a lift.

Free = Priceless (except all the stuff I bought the GF in return)

Hey Andrew, will these be coated already? What is the purpose of coating them?
Thanks

I hope so. It helps tremendously in keeping heat temps down.

No they are not coated. It will be way cooler than the factory headers that you are currently running though.

Hey Andrew, I have a question regarding the AA tune. I ordered the tune for headers and a k&n drop in. I ended up getting a signature exhaust over the weekend and was wondering if the tune has to be changed to include headers, k&n And exhaust? thanks.

I'll guinea pig these in Colorado if there's a post-tune purchase combo deal. Passing emissions is somewhat important to me as well. The only other header options with cats are from Magnaflow and $uper$print.

Nope exhaust will be fine without any software changes.

So the tune get's rid of the CEL, but does it also show the proper 'readiness' code for OBDII Emissions?

These are a work of art + good power gains, but I would have to be absolutely certain to be able to pass emissions without ANY trouble as this is for my DD

No worries on passing visual inspection as they never look - just plug the car in & run the machine...

I have the BMW PE & Res delete, would prolly leave the secondary cat's in for the short term.

Planning on dynoing as soon as everything is installed (after driving it for a bit)I've been lurking around N52 threads for a while now but haven't seen any dynos for a N52 with the full monty (3 stage intake, closed CAI, catless headers, tune). Any pre determined criteria to be met for N52 community acceptance?

My Intake manifold just showed up! When I pulled it out it looked like something out of Giger art (Aliens), apparently the wrecker cut everything out including the union box at the bottom with all the wires and loom still attached. At least I get a preview of where most of this stuff goes.

Same here!! I cant wait, to dyno before and after, ill make sure to post up the results.
My set up will be, cyba airscoops (is that even makes a difference lol), 3 stage manifold (330xi), closed CAI, AA catless headers, 2nd cat delete, resonator delete, remus powersound quad exhaust, and a custom tune

Mine is the same exact setup. Except I have a custom quad from R1 Motorsports.

Looking forward to seeing the difference in the power between our setups. I've got a 330i with the AA off-road tune, secondary cat delete, bmw pe, and of course the AA headers.
