Steering Wheel Issue
Ok, well this is strange to me. When my car is going straight the steering wheel is slightly off, as in it isn't centered. The car has no pull in either direction (it drives perfectly straight) so it doesn't seem like it is an alignment issue, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why the steering wheel seems a tiny bit off centered.
Dealer says it may be alignment and since i have a scuff on my wheel that its from that and warranty/maintenance probably will not cover it. There is no way its from that as the scuff was done when i first bought the car 1.5 years ago and this issue is recent. Any advice, anyone seen this before? |

your dealer is a bozo.
it's your alignment. if dealer makes yopu pay, just take it to a regular autoshop and get it done.

I had the same issue. The steering wheel needs to be adjusted with the shaft splines (move over one spline). tell the dealer and if they can't figure it out... |

I would have thought that too, but the steering wheel only goes on one way, unlike my other cars where I can move the steering wheel from spline to spline. Danny

I just did alignment after 7500 miles for $140 at dealer. They had to do it twice bc after the first time, it was still slightly off. now it is fixed.

Last time my wheel was off it was because the tech forgot to tighten the steering rack. When I drove it home it was straight.
3 weeks later its now crooked to the other side about a 1/4 inch. Im accepting it as Im tired of complaining about things wrong with my car.
