I used to go to bandi for HS drag race all the time (all 4 years of HS). That was fun. As far as breaking into 11s. Not a chance. There are people here in CO (check out the right section of this forum) that are in high 12s with your a lot more mods than you

+1, Don't really need to act like a douche! just turned 19 and i'm no where near acting like how you are lol. You could have gone straight to the point rather then stating everything you said.

Why can't you guys cut the kid a break? who cares?
When is the event?

I think it is pretty sweet they allow that at the high school. That is actually pretty smart to keep the streets a bit safer.

Thanks, and it's in May. So I have a couple of months so get my intercooler. And that'll be the last upgrade maybe.

Just read this entire thread...lol come on guys, who cares if a 17 y/o drives a car that is equal to or better than yours? It just means that his parents are more successful than you are haha, not his fault.

Good luck out there guy, be safe. Even if you don't win the bracket racing part, Im sure u won't have too many to compete with for the fastest pass of the night as long as you turn off DTC and stand on the gas pedal haha.

The amount of bullies on this forum is discouraging. The OP asks for tips from his "elders" and gets flamed. There are people that deserve to get trolled and have their posts flames but this isn't one of them. I'd of killed for an event like this in HS, it would have been a blast. He is excited and looking for tips, he doesn't need your unruly comments. He's not flashing his money or his car or his age, he was providing background information to validate his post. He also then added the part about being called "spoiled" to try and avoid one of you from posting that. Instead of bullying a 17 yr old, why would you not just answer his questions and try to help, or don't. But shut up already with the arrogant remarks. They waste everyone's time and generally they are so poorly written that the dumbass writing can't differentiate between the word YOUR and YOU'RE.

OP go enjoy your car and run the piss out of it.

Ignore some of the members, it isn't a big deal you have a 335i at 17.

Pet peeve...

Good luck and have fun, OP. And don't worry about 11s at that altitude.

Haha, I agree with both things. I see people use 'of' instead of 'have' all the time!

I managed a 12.3 at 3,000 Feet with FBO, E85, Meth. Also an E90 335XI. I didn't get the best launch, so there might be room for another .1 to drop off that time.

Just to give you an idea.

Let us know how it goes!
