Oil in the intake

I was excited to make my first post as I am in the process of installing VRSF downpipes, 7" intercooler and a new chargepipe. As everything was being disassembled we discovered oil in the old chargepipe and in the intercooler.
I know this could mean a turbo failure, but does anyone know of any other reason for the oil? I would love to have an excuse to replace the turbos, but its a big expense. Any ideas?

Very common don't stress, add an oil catch can and upgrade the pcv valve

It's likely just blow-by, if you're adding oil because of it, that would be a different story.

This is why we have Oil Catch Cans on the Market. The BMS one is the best one out there.
