I have never seen nor heard of this (pic) Please chime in.

My car started running like crap after a couple logging runs. I got a misfire cylinder 3, so I pulled the plug. It turns out that the electrode on the spark plug fused to the legs. How could this happen?

JB4 G5 ISO, BMS E85 flash, with an E60 blend and catless downpipes. Log does not indicate anything out of the ordinary.

Don't like the looks of that.
You swapped plugs and all is well now?

Yes. Car seems fine. This was also a brand new plug. I had been running the car really hard, but I still think this is highly, highly irregular.

Garage List
My guess is a manufacturing defect caused that plug to fail due to heat.
