lsd diff sizes

I have an 08 MT 335. It should be welded diff.
I was considering buying someone's complete final drive but it has a bolted diff.
I read that there are large and small pumpkins.
Can the entire final drives be swapped. I guess providing they are they same size.

Yes. As long as the pumpkin size & gear ratio are the same (if they're both manual it'd be 3.08)

Would an 07 large pumpkin 3.08 fit in a late model 08 MT? Not sure if I have a large pumpkin.
