Are you talking about these?

No worries, any word with those PR adapters? Haven't seen any reviews on them posted.

No, I haven't seen any. I didn't even know they made them, that's a pretty trick piece. They look like quality pieces, and most of PR's stuff is.

Ya it looks like a nice piece, their coil kits are super popular. I'm trying to figure out though cuz I don't see those 3 dimples on the stock turbo that would hold it in place

Edit: Kinda decided to just go with 1.75" if I go the route since I'm not planning on going 600+ hp

Turns out he is backwards haha. Wish I had known about these when I pulled the trigger on 1.75" thinking I'd stay stock forever. Maybe they'll make a flipped version?
This engine should come with a warning label like the drug commercials.

From what I've gathered you're not leaving anything on the table really with 1.75" until you start pushing 600+ so I'd still be happy with them, not keen on getting that adapter. Considering all it is is a PIA lol I'll probably go ahead and do them myself next month, now new question is if I want new dp's

I have PTSD from doing my inlets. I did 1.75's on stock turbos and would never ever do them again. After only having on for a month I did new 19T turbos and 2" inlets but I let a shop put them on.

I did however feel a quicker response from the inlets on the stock turbos.

Inlets are worth it. I stayed with 1.75in since i'm not upgrading my turbos any time soon. For the rear, silicone spray grease and a two by four helps to push it down. I've heard of speaker wire trick too. Just gotta be clever. Raising the motor a couple inches might help from what i've read. Could be wrong though. I stuck with stock side inlets.

So I used the XHP flash license to do some customizations. First thing I did was turn the creep function off. Now the car behaves the way it should, this is probably my favorite setting that I've changed. At a full stop with the gas pedal off the car is in neutral without the clutch applied, depending on the road's slope it might move little. As you give it gas it applies the clutch slowly until full engagement. The other setting I changed was reducing the launch control RPM to 3500 rpms. Car takes off better with the less guilty feeling of a 5000 rpm clutch drop. Anybody else flashed it and have feedback? I have yet to buy a map pack.

Ran the half mile on Saturday. Super fun event. I ended with 149.33mph...so close.
I uploaded some video the wife took.

Fellow IS owners, does the IS come with the standard CDV like all 335i manuals? I went to have my mechanic install a M3 CDV when I went to flush my brake/clutch, but he said there was none. I don't have means to jack up my own car yet or else I would check it myself.

Yes, I swapped my out but didn't notice shit afterwards.

Remove helper spring and add clutch stop instead.

Checked mine real quick. The BMW Ultimate Care+ is expired. Federal Emissions is still active. Might be able to claim something with that?

Cool. Damn, I gave away the CDV to a buddy with 335i since I thought I wouldn't need it. I have a stopper. Will check helper spring. Thanks!
