Over the weekend: I won "Best Daily Driver" out of all the BMWs at the largest All-German car show in America, Deutsche Marques. The Dad Mod E91 pulled it off! Right after the show I loaded it up and went on a couple day vacation also with the family. True daily!

Ha! Yeah, considering that RWD M Sport 6MT just sold for $38K on BaT, this swap cost is looking better and better. He figured it'd be about 2 weeks. This coming Monday will be 2 weeks since I dropped it off. He gave me an update Monday, but no ETA yet. Hopefully it'll be ready by the end of next week?

Getting excited!!

"Unfortunately we haven't made much progress the past couple days. Ben has had to help with a Subaru head gasket job that's giving us a bit of trouble.

However....the pedals and plumbing is all done, we had to pull a couple extra pieces from the parts car for mounting the pedal set. Trans is cleaned, resealed, shifter parts setup and assembled with all the new bushings. Auto shifter removed, hole prepped for new manual shifter. Trans and everything under the car (except for the cover panels themselves) should be going back together tomorrow.

Then it's complete the clutch switch wiring, re-check the plumbing and bleed the clutch. If all goes well, it should be drivable by the weekend.

Programming will have to wait until next week. Our tuner is out of town at Road America with IMSA until they're done with this weekend's race.

Depending on his availability should dictate when the car can be delivered. Mid next week I think at the latest. "

Coffee run, swapped the TE37s with the wife’s RIAs, trying to sort a rubbing issue on the front after the M3 front control arms addition.

Today is the day my lovely little E91 320i is getting sold, and I finally managed to get a shot of it together on the driveway with it's replacement - my unicorn car; an E91 335i LCI in Space Grey!

Already done the BMS Intake, XHP Stage 3 and MMR Paddle shifters on the 335i and cannot wait to do the exhaust next and hear that wonderful N55 sing! Watch the space as well, I've got big plans for this car!

Style 167's were always one of my favorite OEM wheels from back in the day! Looked sick on the M6's when they came out. Love the agressive ET's that they have on your car!
