E90: Radar-mirror.com Valentine One rearview mirror and seat headrest
I purchased this Valentine One mirror system from Scott Wheeler at Radar-Mirror.com in 2012. The Valentine One display unit is built into the rear view mirror of the car. The actual Valentine One radar detector is located in the middle seat headrest (you can see the black wire coming out of it in the pic). The controls (off/on/volume) sit right below the steering wheel. Pretty nice system if you want to use the radar detector discretely. I am thinking about selling the car in the next few months so I figure it's time to start looking for a new home for this now. Pretty simple to install. If interested we can swap mirrors and headrests by mail. TY for looking. pics https://www.dropbox.com/s/yzj6jjgp92...70741.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/8k70iq1uup...70813.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/9scynhk9g5...70902.jpg?dl=0 |

The radar sensor is inside of the rear center headrest. Yes I presume that he cut out a hole in the center of the headrest and placed the radar detector inside and sewed it back up, but I did not witness the installation firsthand, I mailed him my headrest and mirror and he mailed them back to me with the system built in. The mirror does not have any sensor built in, only a display unit.
