Gearbox help

Just a quick question for all you people out there, I've got a 320d on a 56 plate and having problems getting the car into reverse and 1st gears it doesn't make a sound or have any trouble with any of the rest of the gears. But does this sound like a new gearbox jobby or a gear linkage

Sounds like the clutch isn't clearing to me.

Is this a serious job, I mean expensive?

Prob around £250 for a clutch kit(cheaper for non oem) and about 3 hours labour.

Sweet does anybody no of any websites so I can look for a clutch
