335is driveshaft upgrade

So I'm going with more HP in the 650+ rwhp range and I'm also getting upgraded clutches from Dodson. I'm sure my car will be amazing, but there is one thing I noticed about the 335is. The driveshaft is known to break at a part that has yet to be upgraded. Does anyone know if there are any vendors that sell a complete reinforced driveshaft?

I know @buraq had issues when he was drag racing. I'm going to be doing the same soon.

I don't know if he ever broke a shaft, I thought it was the roller bearing on the end?

Money would be better spent on LSD, suspension upgrades that reduce or eliminate wheel hop and/or drag radials or some rear wheel/tire combo that has more sidewall.

Going to RCR? Is it even called RCR anymore? Lol

Fall line motorsports creates carbon fiber driveshafts for the m3. You should contact them and see if they can come up with a solution for you.

I have to see if they can make a stronger roller bearing on the end

Dimitri, did you replace the entire driveshaft each time?

What's the advantage of using a CV-style joint like that rather than a standard U-joint?

If you were able to convert to a different style yoke, I would think just about any driveshaft shop would be able to make you a custom unit.

ahh that bites . I'll see if the Drive Shaft Shop will make something custom here in San Antonio.

I also have to start worrying about upgraded clutches as well.

Dimitri has me too scared to even use my LC with his monster tune. All I see are pieces of driveshaft scattered across the road.

lol, nice one. Yes very helpful advice as it would have been cheaper to do the M3 rear subframe swap than having to buy 3 driveshafts. The first one was covered under warranty.

If I do the swap you have to be able to lower the launch RPM lol. @buraq @PTF

Searching for the parts now.
