hi everyone,
I've read through a lot of posts on retrofitting BT into e90 and still have few questions-
- if I want to use the iDrive screen, the only option I have is the original BMW kit?
- how do I know whether my car is pre-wired?
- what is the cost of the BMW solution in Europe?
- what parts do I ned to get (might try to get them on eBay so please let me know exact names if you know them!)

Ja, this is the only option.

You would have ordered the option for phone preparation. If you don´t recall, you can ask your dealer.

You should ask the dealer´s parts dept. for model specific part numbers as they can vary based on your car.

Also, you will have to go to the dealer to get them installed anyway. Will your dealer install parts you buy on eBay?

jspira, thanks a lot for your answers! köszönöm szépen that's about all I know in Hungarian. I am Czech however living and working in Budapest now. Which makes things a bit tougher as not many technicians in BMW here speak English... but I'll find out if they do that or not
