Charge Pipe and Low Idle

Just installed a ER charge pipe I picked up from a member on the forum. Took the car out for a test drive and my RPM's are really low when I come to stop, and the car sometimes stalls at a stop.

Running a JB4, but no other mods. Any thoughts.

Put your OEM charge pipe on and see if it does the same thing. If problem goes away with the OEM pipe start looking for pinched O-rings and loose connections when you install the aftermarket part. If it doesn't go away with either pipe then problem is elsewhere but not likely . like they say in the Aviation maintenance word "90% of your maintenance is due to the 90% of your maintenance".

Car stalling and low idle is a very typical vacuum leak symptom..

Happened to me too when I first put my charge pipe on.

You should be able to give it a good tug without anything wiggling around

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just replaced my charge pipe as well, and I'm having the same symptoms. Which fitting was it for you and did the car run fine otherwise? Mine is idling fine and running good, but it's only when stopping that the car gets low rpm. Everything is stock, no tunes or anything. Also whats the best way to find a leak?

Mine had this issue when I had my VRSF chargepipe installed and the fix was a bolt on the underside of the chargepipe that popped off. After my indie found it and put a bolt and washer, issue was resolved
