Weird noises
I have a 2008 328i. Whenever I redline 1st gear, there is a pretty noticeable whistle noise when I push in the clutch to shift, it drops in pitch directly in sync with the engine dropping revs. It definitely comes from the engine, and I can hear it clear as day with the windows rolled down. Is this just the Vanos, or something I should worry about like the head gasket?
