Annual exterior detail day Saturday!

Wash 2x / strip old wax/sealant
Compressed air dry
Claybar full car/wheels
Klasse AIO 2x
Mothers Carnuba Wax 2x
Back in Black on all black exterior trim
Gummy pfledge on all rubber seals

Took me 6 hours lol!

And then it has rained every moment since....

Tonight before the games, it's engine bay touch up, lexol for the seats, and aerospace protectant for the hard plastics.

Yesterday:

After adding downpipes, I decided to add mufflers since the straight pipe was just to damn loud for my neighborhood on a cold start. I added generic mufflers, before you bash on generic mufflers, I don't care about brand names of looks, I just wanted to quiet it down with a deep tone. At first I was hesitant on using generic mufflers until I was recommended by a friend. Best decision I made for an exhaust system so far. Nice deep tone, no more raspy and not too loud.

Installed OEM replica rear view camera to a mini DVR along with my front camera to record 24/7 to a monitor. As I have a pre-lci and did not want to spent 300$ extra on a module to make the review camera work with my nav display, nor did I want to retrofit CIC.

I'll actually do a separate thread on the rear view camera later, as honestly it came out very clean.

Took a ride over to Turner Motorsports and picked up a pair of Zimmerman front rotors for my brake job on Friday. Finally slappin' on some Akebono ceramics and getting my calipers painted. About those rotors though, they only ran me $120! Shit, the dealership wanted to twist $200 out of me. BASTARDS! Lol, amazing things happen when you kick the middle man to the curb. Way to go Turner!

Not my own car, but I went to the Ultimate Driving Experience event and took an F12 M6 to 100+mph on local streets (holy shitballs, that thing is FAST, didn't expect it to hit triple digits THAT quick!), and practically drifted (well, broke traction even with Trac on) on an F30 in a speedway course. Only setback? They made a typo and I was bragging to EVERYBODY that I was going to drive an i8 but never happened.
