Power steering issues

So recently i had a shop flush my power steering system since it was really dirty. They put in yellow colored stuff, it used to have the regular red ATF III. The new fluid seems to be thinner also. Been driving it for a month and suddenly lost power steering at really low rpm-s. Fluid is also below minimum, so i figured it just got low. But there is no noises that usually come with low fluid. What could this mean? Since the newer stuff is yellow and thinner, could they have “upgraded” it to ATF VI and since it’s thinner it leaks somewhere? Or should i be worried with possible rack issues?
