I've heard sometimes the bolt likes to come loose, a little loctite wouldn't hurt

I have the VTT one from FCP. Works fine, little noise on first startup but it's good now. I like how this one looks more though, clean look.

Noise on first startup?? Why? Is it rubbing on something? That doesn't sound like it's something that should happen.

It rattled a little. This was mentioned by a few people, including Vehicular DIY who is the reason I bought one. Like his, mine did not make any noise afterwards whatsoever. Never thought much about it. I plan on pulling the belts and pulleys in the spring to give the front of the engine a fairly needed cleaning, I'll see then if it somehow damaged anything but I doubt it. I'd imagine worst case the area around the front crank seal may be a little marked, possibly the back side of the harmonic balancer.

Hey mweisdorfer, I am thinking of getting this one instead of the VTT one.
How did it fit? any issues?
