Always in favor of a silver/grey wheels on cars, with that being said I like the look of a 5 spoke wheel in silver or light grey (Double 5 spoke in silver on our black x3). Not sure on the bronze though. The right shade could work, color should be suttle and compliment the color of the car.

I've been seriously considering painting these space grey, I'll be painting bits on my cafe racer the same color anyways so it already makes sense. Wrap the trim in a similar color and I'll be good to go

I got an electric jack.
It is possibly one of the best things I’ve ever purchased for the cars. Easy to use and when you consider the time to roll out the jack, it’s faster. Fits under my stock height e91. It would fit under my lowered e90 if I did not have the small jack pad on it. |

Not at all related to what I did to my car but,
My friends f30 335i blew the expansion tank hose, as they do (even worse than our e90s) but the car needed to be moved out of the lot before getting towed so...I had to get creative. As often as these fail on the f series cars it may well be worth it to make a proper braided line with AN fittings since the connections at each end are standardized and easily findable...but whatever. They tend to last less time than the equivalent hose on our e90s that fails in an entirely unrelated way. |

Big day. Actually two days... Water Pump & Tstat replacement, two radiator hoses, upgraded to VRSF FMIC, new belt, tensioner & two pulleys! whew....
And I gotta say, I wasn't impressed with the fitment of the VRSF... maybe something in my car is warped or the synapse bov is different than most chargepipes... but my Intercooler did not want to line up with the two places to screw it in. Plus the VRSF aluminum was too big and did not angle slightly like the stock one, so I had to cut 2" off of it. Threw my back out--literally--while getting the FMIC installed, hahahah!

Bad gas can do that maybe. Both my buddies WRXs DAM dropped (retards the timing) when they went to this one specific gas station

Bleh. That sucks.
Link your electric jack. I need to watch a 'how to lift this car with jacks' video or two. And buy some jack pads. And those AESCO (?) jack stands. |

It works great. I’m not sure how long it will last. I hooked it up directly to the jump start points in the engine bay. Will be handy to get a jack stand under the car or for quick wheel swaps! To lift the rear, I lift from the differential. |

HAHAHA. I saw that and thought “let me edit this and add the link” and then I forgot that too.
