Android and CIC Music Streaming

Hi All

As i continue my search for the perfect audio experience in my car, id like to know the best (easiest/cheapest) way of getting my music to stream from my android to CIC unit, but not loosing the ability to take hands free calls using CIC?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

For that you can get any old bluetooth adapter that connects to the aux. If you want to keep steering wheel controls, then you need a tune2air. However, with android, it doesn't show track info

I use a Tunai Firefly. Works perfectly fine, great quality too - just no steering wheel controls or track info as it's all fed through AUX. No interference with OE phone functions.

I did one of those ebay CDC emulators listed on here (only real option since my aux doesnt come with USB) and it works GREAT.

It has a switch on it to completely disable its phone integration which is great. I have it set to off so the phone connects to both. The classic one for phone and the ebay box for audio. Song name on the radio and steering wheel controls.

The thing is they don't work with cic.

Important Installation Notes:

You must be able to enable the CDC option I don't
think that is possible with CIC

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH BMW CIC HEAD UNITS

JAPANESE SPEC BMW NOT SUPPORTED

CD changer option must be enabled in order to use this product.

Please consult with your local BMW dealer or purchase a 3rd party CD changer enabler from the market

Factory CD will have to be disconnected to use this product

The OEM sollution is a combox.
