Well, more specifically, her mother wants the public to pay for her to fly over to be with her daughter.

But otherwise, yeah, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Actions have consequences. I wouldn't donate. Pretty sure if her daughter had the financial wherewithal to fly over there, that the mother probably has enough money to fly there too without the public needing to help her out.

Do people leave cans of spray paint around Thailand often? They don't do that here in Boston. I have never gotten drunk and decided to start Fucking shit up in a foreign country.

No, that's how we do it here in Bill-o-rightsland. They don't do 'innocent until proven guilty' there. It's the main reason why I wouldn't ever be comfortable travelling to some of these places, let alone getting blind drunk in them. In Thailand you'd likely be risking your life, or certainly your health, to blatantly deny something they had on camera. Not that it doesn't serve her right to get harshed out for what she did, but there would be less of this if Westerners didn't assume they have the same protections as they do back home (of course, in some US neighborhoods you'd just get shot for tagging somebody else's wall).

Yeah I would. Deny deny deny. If her family has money I assume the police or someone in the system can be bribed or can make it go away. Granted her family probably does not. Go fund me would work better if she claimed she was innocent. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do. It's the smart thing. Lawyers dont give a fuck about what is right and wrong. Neither do corrupt cops in a corrupt system.

I would bet 50k USD cash money makes that video disappear real fast.

I agree with the above about traveling. There are a number of places that are unsafe to travel.
