Telephone Bluetooth option Greyed out 'Please wait' screen E92 2011 CIC Idrive LCI
Hi All,
Just purchased an LCI 2011 325d with high spec (or i thought) not yet called BMW or done Vin deoder to see if the telephone bluetooth option is enabled, i'd think it is as it actually shows up in Idrive, but.... I try connecting my Google Phone to the Bluetooth to make calls, but all i get when selecting telephone in Idrive is a 'please wait' message and nothing moves on from there, when in the 'please wait' screen i press OPTION and on that screen the bluetooth box and writing is greyed out so not allowing the selection to turn it on. The car has a phone cradle in the arm rest, Aux works, radio and Satnav all work, but the telephone screen states please wait, is there a hard reset that can be done of the Idrive or does anyone know a solution to the issue ? I've looked on this and other forums and people have the issue but there is no real answer on the fix that i can see, wonder if anyone can help me out? |

I am aware there are other threads, i just cant seem to find a definitive answer on the telephone screen saying please wait issue.
I did state that in my post... 3 hours of browsing led me to posting the question. |

BMW UK have advised me to download a software update and update in the car via USB so i'm going to try that, failing that im assuming NCS expert is a coding device and i'll have to look down the route of purchasing and learning the coding options. More forum trawling for coding from here... |
