It depends what that driving is - I'm talking one to bring out and drive at the weekend, round the Peak District where I live.

When you drive 650 miles a week every week, cars are picked on cost as well as driving! Unlike my neighbour who has a Boxster but drives a V reg Renault Clio to keep the mileage down!

All of my BMW 3 series have been completely rattle and squeak free.

I can remember looking for a rattle in my 320cd then realising it was my watch

Not so the e60 (5 series) squeaky door seals and trim rattles comes as standard (at least on the early ones) - not as a BMW should be.

I don't think body roll is a particularly useful handling characteristic - hence the m-sport suspension.

NB - I think it's actually more forgiving than the old sport suspension in the e46.
