SoCAl PE Mod
I recently moved down to Irvine and am looking to get the pe mod done to my car. Is there a place that would do it for cheap. I would also appreciate it if you could also mention the price you got the job done for. Thanks

I'm currently looking for a shop to do it also. The first one I went to used to do it but doesn't anymore. I found another that's willing to do it for $280. I have a couple more shops to go to and ask for a price on it still.

It is essentially a modification that can be done to the stock muffler that changes it into the PE muffler. The process includes cutting open the muffler and replacing the perforated pipes with solid piping. Then you could remove the resonators with a xpipe if you dont already have that. It sounds the same at 1/4 the cost

Don't know the exact number. Similar to Big B Mufflers.

The proper question to ask is, "Why don't you just buy a BMW PE exhaust?" However, the answer is usually $$$, which is understandable.

Paying $250 "to make noise" is literally one of the silliest things I've read on a car forum in awhile.
I mean, instead of paying $250 to make noise why not use that $250 to make your car faster? I know this is a German car forum, but that's some serious Honda ricer shit |

There are more than a few options available. If the PE exhaust is essentially the OEM exhaust with just a muffler mod, it's still restrictive. I saw mine, and a few sections are crimped and ovaled. Everyone can buy what they want, but I love the VRSF that I recently got installed on my 335i and it's not too expensive. Also, how is FBO no exhaust? Or do you already have a catback on there?
