Anyone driving an 318d

those engines of the 320d and 318d (122BHP) are the same no ? Talking about NM what is too high if your starting from 280 NM ?

The 2 engines are definitely not the same.
If you want to know more about engine remapping you can start here:

And if you're not comfortable with it, don't do it

Hi all 318d Drivers!
I have just switched from Astra GTC 120hp and unfortunately it feels that the BMW weighs more... Probably I won't go for any computer remapping though.

I was close buying 120d with 177hp which would surely make quite a big difference. Obviously I liked e90 more

I Guys. I´m New At This Forum. I Bought A 318 D Last Week And I´m Very Pleased With The Car But There Just One Problem, That Is The Language Of The Voice Control Comes In Spanish. I´d Rather Prefer In English. Does Any One Knows How To Change It? I´m Afraid I´ll Have To Go To Bmw´s Oficial Dealer To Alter This Situation. Thank You All In Advance.

I think that the language is in the main menu, when you press down the iDrive controller from the start menu.
However I do remember Espanol being a language on its own for some reason, well it was on the 5 series.
I think you need to get your car programmed at the dealer, you will get English, Francais and Italiano to choose from then and maybe Deutsch??

Have a look in the main set up menu first though.

I heard some tuners were getting 190hp from the 118d so tuning has to be worth it. I would go with who ever is close as BMW like to overwrite these maps.
