X5 Nav Screen Style on E90

Hello there,

I found these shattered through the web and was curious if someone of you has actually attempted that.

I own a 2010 e90 lci sedan without iDrive and looking forward to some ideas!

That's the nicest most OEM cut-the-dash install I have seen.
And probably $$$$.

My setup is using a 6.5" display but no cutting. I don't have iDrive so my dash is the base one. Hopefully soon I'll be posting some photos/video. Nice find!

Avin has some pretty wide screens and a cut you dash kit.
The thing is you just get features with them and it feeds it through
the aux which sucks for fidelity .

I cut the dash to install a 10.5" X5 screen. I never finished the install because I quickly discovered that not only is there no hole up top for the screen, the hole at the bottom is the wrong size so the cic/evo head unit would not fit.

So, I just drove around for a year with wires everywhere and the head unit sliding around...

I just finished installing a nav dash, and will be installing an 8.8 screen in the factory hole.

If you want my old pro-radio dashboard (with a slot cut in it to hold the 10.5 screen i was using) to experiment with cutting and seeing what fits before you slice up your car, you're welcome to it (though shipping to Greece might be pricy lol)

10.5 evo / apix2 touchscreen will also be for sale soon...
