M3 brakes
I know this has been discussed and I know there’s no performance gain. However, I have a line on some 6-piston f15 M5 calipers and they make brackets for the e90 m3 only. What needs to be changed for the e90 caliper to fit on a non-m3 car? Is it the hub? Like I said, no need to tell me why the m3 brakes are useless as I know that, but need to know what could be changed to make them fit for a far superior upgrade. Thanks in advance.

IIRC (brake booster aside): F80 M3 Front 4-piston (380mm two-piece cross-drilled) / F30 4-piston (340mm) / F30 M-Performance 4-piston (370mm; dimpled/blank options in single/2-piece) are all the same 4x40mm piston calipers with just different lobe lengths to accommodate the appropriate-sized rotor. All the color variations are just that...all greys are equal in the piston power with "some" credence to their rotor and brake booster for fading and system matching. Not sure what an E90 335i was relative to the F30 4-piston. I do know that the 6-piston E82 (338mm rotor), when compared to the E90 335i (348mm rotor) 1-piston was considered a downgrade; but an upgrade for E90 328i 300/312mm rotor Pre-LCI/LCI, which it was actually sold as a yellow "Performance Brake package". The number of pistons was all relative to size of the pistons and the system, so admittedly, I don't know the "Newtons of force" values we are dealing with, but more pistons didn't always mean better.
