I picked the fdgdf because it's the most symmetrical one, that even a dyslexic person would figure it out correctly.

Careful, there are complexities at play here. There are only two f's, however, the second f is in fact the fifth choice, which is where some of the problem may exist. This poll would be more difficult to chose from if there were in fact five f's. Best to keep it the way it is.

I was thinking about changing my choice to the first f, which was my first inclination, but then because I normally pick the worst line in the grocery store, I changed at the last minute and selected the second f. Otherwise, the second f may in fact be more like a first selection, and I should have then gone with my second selection...which would have been the first f.

p.s. If threads had a sixth star in their ratings, I'd give it to this thread...not because five isn't good...clearly 5, especially representing the fifth character (the second f) is good, but because 6 is so much better...kind of like 11 on a guitar amp.

Now that you pointed out its palindromic beauty, I can't help thinking about fdgdf!

Now I'm really torn about changing my answer -- f's are so clean and precise, particularly the second f, yet fdgdf has such a beautiful flow to it. If only life didn't torment us with such choices!

Another point: its the only choice that had 2 f's in perfect sequence (one just wasn't enough for me!)
