OBDII sniffing
I came across this video recently
It's such an interesting idea. I downloaded the app mentioned on the video (it's on github not the playstore) https://github.com/theksmith/CarBusInterface This basically can replace tune2air or a CD Changer bluetooth streaming box. Anyone dealt with something like this before, or know of a way to get these OBDII params. If I or anyone can easily intetface Android with the car's OBDII port; that means anyone can build an interface/car launcher. |

Anyone can put the two things together?
This lists the messages for the E9x steering wheel http://www.loopybunny.co.uk/CarPC/filter.php?filter=SZL And this app can be setup to listen to the messages https://github.com/theksmith/CarBusI.../wiki/Settings In the example from the app EXAMPLE: 3D 11 00 02 D4 | false | 120 | 30 | 100 | 300 | *BUTTON_ROOT=KEYCODE_HOME | *BUTTON_ROOT=KEYCODE_APP_SWITCH How can that be translated to use the captured up/down CAN message in that app? Thanks in advance. |
